The Texas Artisan Vineyards Cooperative is a collaborative effort of family-owned vineyards in the High Plains AVA, dedicated to producing high-quality grapes for winemakers. Formed in 2018, the cooperative aims to promote the interests of Texas wine grape producers and enhance the profitability of wine grape production through promotion, research and education.
The cooperative focuses on matching vineyards with wineries that need
their fruit, and providing regular education and training for its members.
With currently over 20 member vineyards, the cooperative offers a platform for growers to network, share knowledge, and access resources.
The Texas Artisan Vineyards Cooperative is part of a larger network on
Texas wine organizations, including the Texas Wine and Grape Growers
Association. The cooperative works closely with Texas A&M AgriLife
Research & Extension Center as well. By working together, these
organizations aim to promote the Texas wine industry and support the
state’s grape growers and winemakers.
